Orders, Shipping & Returns

We aim to process, pack, and dispatch your order in the quickest time possible.  If in stock, usually the next business day. 

To Order

You are here – that is a great start! Enjoy browsing our online store at www.justequus.com. At any time select the view cart button to review your order. You may also register your personal account in order to make future visits a fast & easy process and also to save information such as your Wish Lists and order history. Within each product page we include many informational links to help educate you about each product selection. We are always learning and like to share that with you!

If you do not see what you are looking for, please contact us.  Many products that are not shown on site can be purchased with us.  In this case we would conduct your order via phone & email, confirm via email. and either receive your payment via phone call, or by sending a payment link to you via email.  Order fulfillment will be similar to below.

When you have finished your selections, you can proceed to “View Cart” and “Checkout” to calculate and display an estimated order total, including shipping costs. All amounts are shown in US dollars. You can refer to this link to see a general guide to currency conversions (note this may vary slightly from whatever conversion your credit card company is using, but can give an idea of value translation).

You can edit your cart within the cart section and when ready, can confirm the order to continue onto payment and shipping information.

Once your transaction is complete, JUST EQUUS will process and ship your item from California, U.S., or drop-ship from a specific mnftr., or from one of our network of trusted distributors. If you do not see your package’s intended destination country listed as an option, we are not currently able to ship to that destination. If you are shipping within the U.S. or to an APO/FPO address, simply proceed through the regular Checkout process.

Shipping Information:

We carry in-stock items as well as items that have longer lead times, which is the case for some of our custom made products.  Please refer to specific product page for details on lead times.

In stock products ship within 12-48 hrs.

Non-standard ship options are:

UPS Ground (up to 6 days delivery), & 3-Day Select (this is available only for in-store items.)

You can view ship fees within the shopping cart and can adjust options to best suit your preferences at that time.  Please read below for international orders.

Orders to Alaska and Hawaii typically require an additional day to arrive.

Rural domestic addresses require one or more additional business days to deliver. For delivery to international shipping addresses, please view below.


Special Orders: Certain in-stock items may require 3-4 weeks for delivery. These special orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes or military addresses (APO, FPO, Guam, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands). Certain restricted items cannot be shipped to international addresses. International customers will be notified to remove these items during Checkout.

Duties & Taxes
International Orders: Additional International taxes, tariffs and value-added tax (VAT) based upon the arrival country’s laws and the nature and value of the items ordered may be charged to, and are the responsibility of customers upon delivery. The receiver of products will be responsible for additional fees.

Duty, customs tariffs and VAT are set by the destination country. They are determined based on the purchased merchandise's country of origin or manufacturing and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that JUST EQUUS supports. The amount of applicable duty, tariffs, taxes and VAT will vary by country and are determined after orders ship.

Shipping Options & Charges

International shipping costs are calculated based on a number of factors, including the number of purchased items, the weight of the items and the destination country postal code. During Checkout, an estimated international shipping costs will be calculated based on the items you are purchasing and your shipping destination. Unfortunately, we cannot offer Free Shipping on international orders. International customers may ship to multiple addresses by placing a separate order for each shipping address. We cannot ship single international orders to multiple addresses at this time.

International Ship Methods Offered:

Our standard ship method for smaller package is USPS Priority is the least expensive yet insured method to ship.  It offers limited tracking and in the rare case that a package does not arrive, it is declared lost & insurance claimed, and a new package is sent to you. 

UPS International Delivery is also available.

Internation Shipping Timeline
Most in-stock items will arrive 3-18 business days after receipt of your order. Please note that shipping windows are estimates and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Returns & Exchanges
We cannot offer merchandise exchanges on orders shipped internationally.

International orders are final sale and are not subject to returns or exchanges. Please contact Customer Service for more information.

JUST EQUUS Gift Certificates cannot be sold or redeemed internationally at this time.

Returns & Exchanges

Please read the following information below before you purchase merchandise on this website
We make our best effort to only provide Excellent Products – well made, well designed, products. We want YOU to be extremely happy with your purchases.  However if for any reason you need to return or exchange your item/s please read our Returns/Exchanges Policy and also our Terms & Conditions:


Returns/Exchanges:
Items purchased online may be returned within 7 days with receipt for an exchange or store credit only with the following exceptions. We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom or special orders, saddle pads & horse clothing, human under garments, pet bedding, all sales & clearance merchandise.  

For Saddles, please read our Saddle Returns Policy.

All items being returned or exchanged must be in their original packaging with all price tags attached, unused, no soil whatsoever, and in sellable condition.

All returns must be authorized with an RA # (Return Authorization Number) that must be obtained prior to sending your item and copy of your purchase receipt must be included.

The customer is fully responsible for shipping the item back to us in its original packaging and we do not accept responsibility for lost or damaged packages.

Items returned within 2 weeks of receipt and in keeping with conditions mentioned below are given a full product refund. 
Items returned after 2 weeks of receipt and in keeping with the conditions mentioned below are subject to a 10% restock fee.

Items returned after 2 months and in keeping with the conditions mentioned below are subject to a 15% restock fee.

Product return policies that are outlined on individual products pages may differ from this in which case specific product return information will supercede the information above. 

Exceptions include but are not limited to our Saddle line (see Saddle Returns Policy), Sonnenreiter Apparel in which any returned item is subject to a 15% restock fee. 

Returns that are not returned in NEW Condition:  New products that are shipped new and then are returned used - are not in NEW Condition.  They are also not resaleable in NEW Condition;  Therefore, returned products in this category are refunded less 15-100% of their original sale price. 


Returns/Exchanges Process:
1) Request an RA Number or acknowledgement of your intention to return your purchase.

2)  We will discuss reply to you and acknowledge your request.  We do not accept International Returns or Exchanges however.  This must be discussed and resolved in person or via email.

Please write it on your package and on the copy of the purchase receipt that you received.

Please indicate whether or not you would like a store credit or if you would like to exchange it for another item. We will charge you an additional shipping fee equal to original ship fee or adjusted to new product exchange.

3)  Please use a shipping method that issues a tracking number for the package (UPS, FEDEX, or USPS with Delivery Confirmation). Return freight will not be reimbursed.

Damaged/Defective Items:
We stand behind our products! If you receive an item that is defective, you MUST contact us with the specific issue within 48 Hours of receipt so that we may exchange the item for its exact replacement. No Exceptions!

Items damaged in transit must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Your assistance will be required during the claim process.

Outside from the manufacturer’s guarantee on specific ‘indestructible’ items such as the ‘NOSE-IT’, items damaged by your horse or pet are non-returnable and will be considered a complete loss. We do not repair or replace items damaged by your horse or pet. The merchandise sold on our online store are not guaranteed to withstand your pets behavior.
