  1. the easiest sell..

Thank you Thank you - The 2011 Vogue arrived and Ecco and I are so in love with it - not only is it gorgeous but within minutes the saddle not only conformed to him but to me and we had a great non pinchy ride. Usually my back hurts when I get out of the saddle to walk back in and not a pinch, ache or twist what a relief! Can't wait to try the lighter fill Smart Panel but we are having fun with the backsaver combo already. Ecco and I rode in the 2011 Vogue today using the backsaver pad and the only way I can describe it is "it felt like home". Ecco is a large 4 year old Oldenburg so I look forward to watching him develop and not having to go through the saddle WOES each time he changes. Next week April gets her turn, I am sure her back will truly appreciate the comfort of the Vogue. Thanks again, we will definately stay in touch, we are hooked. Diane and the "kids"

  2. "Cloud" saddle

Posted by Lisa on 8th Dec 2011

Comfort for my horses, is always my top concern. This saddle (and I've tried many, many different brands and types), is the only one I can use on all my (many very hard-to-fit) horses, and know they are truly comfortable, and able to perform at their best. The big added plus, is the comfort, to us humans! I often get sore in traditional saddles... not in this one! There is good reason my friend has dubbed it the "Cloud" saddle! :) (I also appreciate the set of the stirrups; as I hate dressage saddles that have the stirrups positioned too far forward.) The leather is highest quality... there's not one thing I can complain about!

  3. Like everything about it

Posted by Julie M on 26th Sep 2011

I have an OTTB that is very hard to fit due to his short back, wide sprung ribs and high withers, plus he has old injuries that cause him back pain. This is the ONLY saddle that I have been able to use on him - and I've wasted a lot of money trying to find a treed saddle that would work. The Vogue gives him the clearance he needs around withers and spine. He obviously finds the wide foam panels quite comfortable, as the bucking has stopped (no smart panel needed). The saddle is very stable. It doesn't slip around like other treeless saddles I have tried. Plus the seat is really cushy!I ordered the saddle with a "scooped out" seat option. It creates a little bit deeper seat and I don't feel like I am perched up on top. All -in-all, I give it 5 stars.

  4. Wonderful saddle!

Posted by Janet Aveni, Spofford, NH on 23rd Sep 2011

I just finished demo'ing the new Vogue Dressage saddle and loved it so much, I ordered my very own. The saddle is very stable, even when mounting from the ground, has fabulous leather, is soooo very comfortable to ride in, and is just gorgeous to look at. Well worth the money, it is one of the few saddles on the treeless market that allows proper alignment of hip to heel, and finally puts me in a postion that I don't need to fight to maintain. Having demo'd several of the older models and never finding them quite right, I am very impressed with the 2011 model. It really is, just right.

  5. A perfectly awesome saddle!

Posted by Anna and Capri on 23rd Sep 2011

My pony, Capri, has a broad, flat back and most saddles just don't fit her at all. The first time I placed the 2011 Vogue saddle on her back I knew it was going to be perfect. And, when I sat in it and rode her I knew my initial impression was true. When I'm riding in it I just forget about it - nothing gets in the way - everything feels just right. It easily allows me to be in a balanced position and to flow with Capri's movement. Capri is very relaxed with it and has a totally even sweat pattern after a ride. Karen asked me how Capri acted when I saddled her - well, Capri comes to the tack room door, at liberty (no halter or rope on her), and stands while I put the dressage pad on her and then the saddle and then I girth it up gently. After she's saddled, then I get her bridle and put it on. She waits happily watching me as I get everything from the tack room. I couldn't ask for anything more!

  6. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my VOGUE

Posted by Karen Copeland on 23rd Sep 2011

From the first time I rode in this saddle it felt perfect. My horse had saddle issues so I went treeless several years ago. Other treeless saddles did not allow enough of a twist for my long thigh bone nor felt secure perhaps because of the twist. The Vogue solved that problem and more. Super secure, balanced stirrup bar placement, exquisite leather and comfort for both horse and rider. I use mine with the Smart Panel which fills in just where my horse needs it making him very comfortable and willing. I just can't say enough positive about my Vogue.

Heather Moffett demonstrating how the positioning of the rider's torso initiates the positioning also, of the horse's body in lateral work. This also highlights the importance of sitting straight!- neither collapsed in the hip, nor twisted. Heather borrowed the horse for the demo from Cefnmably Livery in S Wales, and had not seen him or sat on him before the demo.
